Spinach Quiche Love

Quiche Alert! You might get addicted to this recipe after you try it!
This is the classic french version, which is extremely easy to make and I’m sure you’ll love.I found out recently that Nico is addicted to any type of Quiche. He had it for the first time in his daycare so I wanted to prepare a homemade version for him with lots and lots of spinach.

To be honest, I had to cheat tonight. I bought the frozen crust because Nico gets super excited and he’s so impatient that I wouldn’t have the chance to do this from scratch (and I’m lazy today, lol)

Ingredients

– 1 frozen pie crust

– 5 eggs

– 1 1/4 cup of heavy cream

– 1 tbsp of butter

– Spinach and Cheese (you can use gruyere, mozzarella)

– 1/4 cup of spanish onions

– Salt and Pepper

Steps

1- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and cook the pie crust for 10 minutes, set aside as soon as it’s done

2- Set the oven to 325 degrees now!

3- Heat butter and cook the onions until you see them translucent and you can smell them

4- Cut the spinach (I used my kitchen scissors)

5- Mix on a large bowl the heavy cream, eggs, salt and pepper and whisk it together

6- Add the spinach in the mix

7- Take your pie crust, add the onions at the bottom and then the mix. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

8- Cook it for 50 minutes and voila! Serve hot and enjoy
