Oh Baby Shower!

We celebrated Olivia’s baby shower last weekend organized by my sweet friends Gaby, Keka and Meli (I love you guys, forever! I’m so lucky to have you ALL) I swear I’ve never felt more loved.

Our inspiration? a cute “teepee” brunch afternoon! honestly, it was the perfect day with my favourite people and of course my favourite thing to do, Brunch.

Pinterest, watch out, here we go!

Shiny happy flats for this special occasion? #yesplease #homemadegarland

These DIY copper ombré feathers were my fav accent of the party! with a bit of patience and lots of wine (for keka of course), we finished an entire bowl full of them.

I gotta say, I’m pretty proud of how talented my friends are and how in 4 hours we put together all the decor of the party, including all our floral arrangements and the tiny cutlery bags we did from scratch.

It was a total “girls afternoon” with a Mimosa bar, coffee bar, different juices and yummy things!
We decided to do all the decor instead of buying a “it’s a girl” theme.

We had so much fun doing it together, starting with the branding of the party until the final detail, like our paper straws or washi tape for the Polaroid wall.

The activities included a Polaroid wall with Olivia’s mama&friends and colour a cute ABC!

you guys did the cutest alphabet for baby Olivia! I can’t wait to show her  #tearing

Gaby had an amazing idea for the cake, our very first timbits (mini donuts) cake instead of a regular one and proudly, she did the most beautiful cake ever.

In the menu: lots of fruits, greek yogurt bar, mini croissants, tequeños (couldn’t resist), some cute mini quiches with cheese and red peppers and of course lots of chocolate.

We had a blast, an amazing menu and lots of great stories! Thanks from all my heart to all of you, you guys are not only my friends but my family. I feel deeply grateful and happy to have you in my life (:

I threw this shower along with Coco a few weeks ago for our friend Amy, who is expecting her first baby, a little boy named Milo. I asked Amy if she had a particular theme or color scheme in mind.

Wonderful preparations dear, especially I love the color combination scheme you have used for party. I am also going to plan a small kid’s party at local party venue NYC and I think using this idea of your color scheme will make a nice choice.

The places I saw here are really wonderful, celebrating a special event like this with the beauty of nature is really cool. When you are in this place, there's nothing you can do than to be happy. I really liked event space San Francisco here.
