- Tell us a bit about this lovely idea, Glow

Glow has been replenishing bodies and minds since 2013. Glow is the only smoothie cleanse developed with a naturopath to ensure balance and supply you with essential nutrients. Glow started off by only offering detox cleanses but has evolved to enhance wellness on a daily basis by offer herbal teas, smoothie packs, booster shots Glow is designed to be healthy, delicious and practical: customers order exclusively on our e-shop and have their smoothies delivered anywhere throughout all of Quebec and Ontario.

- What made you decide to open your business and why a healthy one?

Although my background is in marketing and communications, I've always been interested in healing through food and alternatives way of eating which has led me to try out veganism, raw food, and naturally stumble upon the universe of cleansing. I tried water cleansing, broth cleansing and juice cleansing which I found too hard because I had to stop my daily routine to fit the cleanse in. I felt that a cleanse should fit conveniently into our routine and not the other way around. So I thought why not offer smoothies to cleanse instead of juices: they're more nourishing, more nutritious and you add in great super-foods to make them even more beneficial. So I worked closely with a naturopath to develop our first recipes and that's how Glow was born!

 - Any tips for future entrepreneurs in the city?

Stay positive during the hard times and grateful during the good ones ! Surround yourself with other entrepreneurs who know what you are going through and with family and friends who support you.
