Barley: Montreal’s First Cereal Bar

After trying a cereal bar in New York City a few years back, I only wished to have this concept in Montreal, and bam! Barley happened as the first cereal bar in the city.My first visit (a solo one) was a Tuesday morning, to do some work and sip a good coffee. This place isn’t just a cereal bar, it’s a coffee shop, also a workspace where you can rent a room if you have a meeting or a private event, a restaurant that serves delicious smoothie bowls, and a marketing agency that I had the pleasure to meet that day.let’s be honest, even if you are 30 or 2 like my little Olivia, having a cereal bowl doesn’t get old, right? Please don’t tell my kids I went here, and they weren’t part of the plan, deal?
The menu options are quite amazing, and the pretty brekkie you see at the beginning of this post is Le Safari smoothie bowl, a mix of mango, pineapple, banana, greek yogurt, coconut milk and a homemade honey almond granola. If you feel like doing a healthy breakfast, They serve smoothie bowls, fruit parfaits, chia bowls and endless options of cereals with regular or premium milk.I tried every single house granola (4 in total) and my very favourite was honey almond that you need to have and take home, yesss! They sell them!Curious about the other granolas, right? Here’s a sneak peak:Spicy GingerGreen HempDouble ChocolateArrived here for lunch plans? not to panic! Salads and Toasts all homemade, with local ingredients are available as well.
The interiors here are absolutely stunning!
Gimme all the granola, world.
… and yes, I freaking adore places with details like this one.WIN.
